Saluopa waterfall with beauty 12 levels

Saluopa waterfall located in the village Leboni, North Pamona, Poso, Central Sulawesi Province ( Indonesia ). The waterfall is sourced from springs in the mountains and flows through mountain rocks as much as 12 levels. In each level there are stairs made of stone that serves as a way for the visitors. In addition, there are diverse fauna and the tropical forest that surrounds it, so that the air around the waterfall is noticeably cooler and fresher.

Many tourists who come here when the holidays arrive, such as Sunday or other national holidays. They usually perform activities such as bathing, posing in the middle of the waterfall, eat together, or explore the waterfalls to level 12. Not only that, sometimes visitors can also find other beautiful waterfall at the top of the level to 12.

For tourists who want to reach this waterfall, in need of a trip as far as 12 km from the town of Tentena. Because, usually the tourists prefer to stay in Tentena, because there was no lodging around the village Leboni. Then to transport the trip could use a rental car or a motorbike. After that the next trip can only be reached by foot as far as 500 meters. For entry to the location of the waterfall, visitors must pay entrance fee of IDR 20.000 / person.

According to some visitors, waterfalls Saluopa is one of the best in Indonesia. It can be seen from the visitors who come from overseas as well as people from different regions. But unfortunately, the water which previously flowed freely may have decreased because of the plantation people over this waterfall. Until now local authorities are still trying to find the best solution of this problem.
